Bruce - my all time favorite rock idol, and Bono, you're a close second!! These guys are amazing....and loved Bono's nod to Bruce's "The Promised Land" at the end....NICE!!!!!!

@Cajunninja65 If u notice every old band out there is credited as either "biggest band in america" or etc. They do have the supposedly "hit songs", and there are plenty of them. I agree their "hit songs" are not those that you get hooked at first listening. I used to think edge is over-rated. but recently i realized its not the complexity of guitar solos they made him great. Its is the unique sound design of the band. you dont have to like them though. I personally dont like a lot of good bands.

@500ncb That has nothing to do with what I am saying. U2 is credited as being the biggest rock band out there, I don't see how this can be...If they don't have tons of hit songs why are they so popular?

@Cajunninja65 if you define how great a band is by the quantity of "hit songs", I think avril lavigne should already be in the hall of fame instead of bands like tom petty and jeff beck. btw I no absolutely no one who are fans of these 2, but i have known a lot of people who know avril lavigne and sum41.
