I also find that starting with 1000-1500-2000 is key to a nice job. Some people go straight to 1500-2000-3000 on high end 20k paintjobs...

Hey there! I enjoyed watching your work. I have the exact same problem. However, I find cutting down orange peel with 2000 grit sandpaper is difficult -labour wise. Any tips on saving effort? I feel like somehow attaching a 2000 grit piece of paper to a random orbit sander.

did you use a wool pad or a foam pad. Thanks. oh and the car looks great, I use to own a 69 coupe. Absolutely miss the hell out of it.

Looking good. What was the number of the fine cut cleaner by Meguiars? Also did you use a dual action polisher at what setting?
