Tonight's Supermoon, when the moon was at it's closest to the Earth in several years.
The video shot using a USB telescope eyepiece and letting the moon move through it. Footage sped up 5x .
The photo was shot with an EOS Kiss X3 (500D/RebeTi) in a 32mm eyepiece (With moon filter) of a 10" Dobsonian Telescope.
Contrast adjusted on computer to highlight the seas and craters.
Before I get any comments about it being upside down... I know.. but that's how dobs work and I cant be arsed rotating it ;-)
