Hi Carolyn -- the carne asada looks great. Did you oil your cast iron grill beforehand or did you just grill it up with the lemon juice and gd seasoning? Thanks =D

@fezan84 No I didn't oil the pan. Just put the heat on medium-high to high. Remember I put a little EVOO on the meat itself to keep it from sticking. It's even better on the pit :))

Is it called flap meat in the store? Just asking because I've never heard of it in NJ and just want to make sure I look for the right cut.

@sweetiepie1018 Yes it's called flap meat, a type of cut taken from the flank cut of meat. If you can't find it in NJ you can also use the flank steak and ask the butcher to cut it thin for you :))
