Idk man, Mayer's songwriting and guitar playing are overlooked because of his fame. Or his type of fame rather. People think he's just another pop star that the ladies love and all that crap. But if you listen to the album Continuum, top to bottom, you'll see the man has some real soul. I do love Brett tho. I just don't think you can say he's 'better.'

John Mayer is a great singer/songwriter. That's not saying he's the greatest PERSON, but he's definitely talented. Dennen is a beautiful artist as well.

I sense the "hate" comments are coming from deep inside these posters, so sad they can spout so much hate and about exactly what??? The fact is, they don't know how to let others be different from themselves & most likely they don't know who they are anyways.
