You might want to know that hid doesn't work out of the box on windows

Pd version 0.41.4-extended.

so on windows you may want to use hidin instead..

Couple of questions...

How are you reformatting as you go without the mouse? I'd presume its some form of key binding.

Also what system are you using to transfer midi between programs?

the object that scales input for you, [range] with four arguments, the first two are the input range, it automatically scales to the range of between the second two.
