  • @calvnio The X2 mills are also limited in the Y travel. If you are looking to upgrade the X3 or G0704 would be a better machine. RWW

  • I know the LMS has 5" of Y travel and the brushless DC motor.

    I own a sherline but the lack of large end mill capacity can be a problem at times...

  • @calvnio Thanks for the comment. The mill is the Grizzly G8689 (X2).  It is similar to the LMS Machine. LMS has a different motor and possibly slightly better travels.

  • Good use of the rotary table! Is that the little machine shop hi-torque mill?
