CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Items from a historic home and restaurant in Clifton Heights are going on sale as new development gets set to begin.The Goetz House on West McMillan Avenue near West Clifton Avenue is expected to be torn down to make way for UC student housing. The home is more than 100 years old and was built by beer baron Christian Moerlein for his daughter and son-in-law. In recent years, it has been home to Lenhardt's Restaurant and Christy's Biergarten and Rathskeller.On Saturday, there was a preview of the many items up for sale. This included a lot of memorabilia, neon signs, restaurant equipment, furnishings and decorations. The actual online auction is set to begin on Sunday.
