@TheBartvandermeer You make a perfectly rational explanation and end it with "its basic NLP". Thats like saying "the planets orbit the sun in more or less one plane. There is alot of thing going on wich you cant see, gravity, relativity and stuff. Its basic Astrology".
suggestion and anchors are good explanations, why mix them up with something so psedoscientific as NLP?

He tells it on his other shows that most tricks can be done to any1, some are easyer then other though.
He simply suggests, the victim is expecting a blow. Hes asks the victim " can you feel this" and stuff like that. So the victim is expecting to be hit hard. All Derren does with his fist is saying to him that its ok to feel like your taking a hit.
Furthermore there is alot of things going on wich you cant see, suggestions, anchors and stuff. Its basic NLP
