  • Gorgeous.......with his emotion and presentation, Waylon can out-do Harris or any other performer with this song (and most others as well~~~LOL~~~can ya tell I'm a little Waylon-biased~~~LOL!). God, I miss him so much.....Thanks so much for yet another fabulous video~~~

  • Not many can do this song justice. beautifully done.

Is that Mr Mooney on steel?

  • I got to play guitar for Harold Gay of the Kimberlys.. One of nices ,down to earth man, I've every met...Waylon & Harold RIP

  • How on earth did Waylon find this song? No problem. His version is great, but anybody ever hear of Richard Harris and Jimmy Webb? Still, I'll always love Waylon. No doubt he and Richard are discussing this in the "great beyond". Just love it.

  • 1000% Super!

  • Well you take care of yourself and enjoy all of Waylon's music as I will too. Just listening to his music will keep him alive in our hearts.

  • Where did you get this song? I have it on a 33 1/3 record I found in a sidewalk sale years ago. It is titled Country Music Waylon Jennings from Time Life Records,(1981) side 1 third song. He sang it with the Kimberlys. He won a Grammy for this song

  • You are welcome acashfan1. I loved all of his music. He got me hooked on country music. Tell your Aunt that you met someone online that loved his music as much as she did. I still wished I lived in Austin, Texas. Austin is a great country music city and I miss her.

  • I seen him in Austin, Texas in 1969 just shortly after I got out of the Army. He sang this song and I will never forget how much I loved this song and how wonderful he did it.

  • ya hes basicly saying that the love he had built up after so long was being ruined and he'll never have the recipe again is because he doesnt think he can ever love someone like that again
