Those were the days when melody was being created:And I firmly believe Khem Chand Parkash,despite his short span of life (43), played a leading role towards transforming the old style of music,meant mostly for kings/rajas'courts and such likes, into melody that had appeal to all levels of society,and suited occasions reflecting all shades of human emotions.Obviously he wasn't alone in this pursuit-- all the great artists of those times contributed in making that History!!
