Showing the process of building my VW trike.. Here is the website describing the process: http://www.mytrike.vze.com/
Well yes, it is not a store bought beauty but I made it.. from scratch, using mostly old metal and used stuff. I built it in my garage with a stick welder and grinder as tools. It is registered as a 'home built' trike with its own vin number. Thinking of doing a swedish trike next..

  • Love it. "The Crazy World of Arthur Brown."

  • nice work man

me nd ma dad are currently in the process of building a trike using a rover metro gsi engine and you must have worked hard to make yours look that good :)

  • Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should have a small jar filled with your sweat mounted on the trike. So when someone asks you "How much did that trike cost?" You could just point and say many of these!

  • Anybody that can turn two piles of scrap metal and some junk VW parts into something useful without spending his food money is an artist in my book! It's easy to spend a wad of cash on a kit and follow the instructions, but your design shows intelligence. Have you thought about making some fiberglass panels to cover the tubing? Wrap that sheet metal with some foam and vinyl from the fabric store? I've done it before and it's not that difficult.

  • CRAZY

  • Awesome Job!
