Reporter: Maharishi, first, I think everyone would be interested in what your views are on the worlds' situation, as it is today?

Maharishi: The world's situation is better than before, one thing; and it's going to be better, day by day, because more and more people are responding to this technology of the Unified Field. So the world has a brighter future, day by day.

Reporter: I was wondering if you had any comment on some of the recent events? Last night you touched very briefly on the Indira Gandhi event in India. Do you have any more comments or reflections on that event? Can you explain....

Maharishi: The reflection on Indira Gandhi's last moments are very serious for the world, I would say. And the main thing that I was saying was, that her last moments have thrown a big challenge to the statesman of the world; the challenge to find a system of administration which will satisfy everyone. As long as all the people in the country are not satisfied, such unfortunate events are bound to continue. It's the dissatisfaction of the people which is responsible for such events in the world. Now, the question whether at all it is possible to satisfy everyone? And I have a big yes for it.

I remember in 1980 a big course given in New Delhi when Depak Chopra was just coming on the scene. 3,000 people were gathered in the "Indian Express Building" and we were meeting in a high level floor.
