  • So Stanley Kubrick, the avowed atheist, made a movie about god?

I'm not seeing it at all.

  • @NoFearOfGod good call

  • Cooper knows nothing about film! He knows nothing about Kubrick and his symbology.

  • @electronicmedium Who does know?

  • @jezzmoto There are a few great analyses on 2001 and kubrick, youtube user "robag88" has some great stuff.

  • @electronicmedium I also really enjoyed robag88's vids too, I have seem most of them : )

No they aren't. The morning star in Isaiah is said to a fallen one. In Luke, Jesus

talks of Satan falling like lightning from heaven. Not referring to actual stars.

Also, Sirius is the actual star secret societies are into.

  • Why does it end when he starts talking about Horus?

  • Yes, "Jesus" and "Lucifer" are one and the same because they both represent the same thing- the sun. That's why they're called "the morning star". Just symbols for the sun, the sun also being a symbol of illumination, both literally and figuratively.

  • there are two kinds of 'atheists.' dumb materialists who deny anything that is not tangible.

and those who see beyond antrhropomophic dogmas and are in awe of the unknowable source of all and everything and not impressed by a church that holds that the sun revolves around a flat earth. this kind of 'atheist' is really an anti theocratic who is open to learning

more than the average theocrat. the israelites were called atheists because they did not bow to idols. kubrick is one. not a luciferian.

  • @NoFearOfGod It is not about God, but about man's illumination according to the ancient mystery schools. The mystery schools/religion believes that through the use of the intellect, man can be come a god. The mystery schools don't believe in God or the devil but in the divinity of man, so they are atheist just like Kubrick who was probably an adept in the Mysteries.

  • I'm not a Christian but films are stories and stories are open to interpretation so I can see how Cooper interpret from a Christian's perspective.

  • @DeapSilentComplete i'm not saying he's wrong, i'm just saying there's no way to know if he's right or not, as there is no right answer to this question.
