  • thanks for the review!!!

  • @baywest No problem! Cheers!

  • do you know how fresh your bottles were? I reviewed a 2009 vintage and it was thin and fizzy. I wonder how the mouthfeel changes as it aged? Must thing out I suppose. I got no banana or clove in mine - it was closer to a barleywine or a Belgian quad.

  • @ChadzBeerReviews Ours were fresh 2010 bottles, directly from the brewery. Well as you know Weizen aren't good for aging, but since its so high ABV you easily can. The flavors of banana and clove are the flavors that fade first, and what sticks around is the malt backbone. I guess thats why you didn't get it. But maybe you had a bad bottle who knows. Cheers!

  • definitely my favorite beer!!! it got a 99 on ratebeer.com

  • @MRTRAVISGILLETTE It is indeed a great beer! Cheers!

  • Hey guys, I wasn't aware that there are beer reviews on youtube but I somehow discovered this video, and have to say it's quite cool! Some advice from a Bavarian: You always bump the weizen-glasses at the bottom when you clink glasses (just a rule with some background which is to long to explain here).

    Cheers!

    P.S.

You should really try the Beer from "Klosterbräu Scheyern" have a look at

klosterbrauerei-scheyern.de if you understand some German ;-)

  • @ChadzBeerReviews Its pretty awsome! Cheers!

  • best label EVAR!
