Good job, I just stared my Weimy on the TM and she is 7. She does 40 minutes at 2.5 miles ph. I just started letting her go on her own. As time goes I'll up the speed. She has a tendancy to stare at me when I'm on my treadmill which is to her left... the leash helps her stay in balance at that time. If no she looks like a drunk trying to walk a straight line. hahaha. I too have a hard time to stay focused if I happen to look in a different direction... Keep it fun.

Its a weimaraner... that isnt training, its an everyday reality of their energy level. Now if only mine would agree to that.

how long did it take to train him ... how did you do it. I have tried my weim on the treadmill but he's so afraid of it.

I did the exact same thing with my weim. Its great for dogs that need to work of energy.
