Title: Using Surface EMG's to Wirelessly Control a Remote Control Car via a Microcontroller

Abstract: A signal conditioning hardware configuration, LabView program, SiLabs IDE, and a microcontroller, were designed and utilized to convert EMG signals to wirelessly control the forward and backward movement of a remote control car. The C program was run through SiLabs IDE and downloaded to the microcontroller. The C program had certain voltage thresholds set that would be compared to the incoming EMG signals. The right arm (forward car movement) had a voltage threshold of 2100 -- 2500 mV. The left arm (backward car movement) had a voltage threshold of 1500 -- 2000 mV.
