@jeremys1977, I do almost the exact same trick that you do, but rather than forcing and holding a break, I give two free selections (actually one, the second person just gets the next card) I guess I could hold a break then force the next card, but I've never done that. I give out the cards then replace them, switched (using a bit of misdirection). the only problem would be if they chose one of the last three indicator cards, in my case 5S, 3S and 2S, but even then it still works, just a littl

@msteadman11 I'm working off a wood dining room table and its really tough to pick the cards up off it. That's just a felt pad to rest the cards on. I actually did buy it at a magic store.
