And Bollywood fans all over had their chance to see their superstar idols over the weekend at the International Indian Film Academy Awards in Bangkok.
STORY:
The event was highlighted by the world premiere of the much-awaited Indian film 'Sarkar Raj' starring the three famous Indian Bachchans.
Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most prominent figures in the history of Indian film and currently serves as the International Indian Film Academy, IIFA's Brand Ambassador.
[Amitabh Bachchan, Indian Film Maker]:
"I'm very happy and very excited. We did have sequence of all this called the Sarkra and this is about the same family, it is the continuation of the story of the same family. I'm very delighted to be here in Bangkok".
One of the movies to compete for the IIFA award is "Guru" which stars former Miss World Aishwarya Rai.
[Aishwarya Rai, Indian Actress]:
"We Enjoyed working with the team as the audience responded it, that made it the most special because the movie is going to remain as for a long time."
The IIFA is an organization dedicated to promoting Indian Cinema to the international platform by the exchange and interaction of the business opportunity.
