If this is the 400cc, it's in Europe, not here, only 600cc.

The seats on these are adjustable, so you would probably be able to ride it. The problem is that this is a BIG scooter, weighing as much, if not more, than a large motorcycle. If you have the power to hold it up and have experience on other big, heavy bikes, I'd say it's easier to handle than a bike is...

That's a cool touring scooter - ride all day.

Riding on such a beautiful maxiscooter with superbike gear is an awful sight. It's tasteless because it just doesn't fit. Especially the boots... Look at it, it's a joke. Drive like a king (very defensive) and wear more expensive clothes. This bike deserves it. Don't make yourself rediculous with this agressive outfit. You're not riding a Hayabusa.

I like how he can hold it up with one foot on the ground. if i try that the dang bike falls over. Got to get to the gym and tone up some more! And maybe get on a rack to get stretched a couple more inches!

@wesmatron I don't know what's out in the UK for options on the GW. In the states, you need a motorcycle license for anything over 50 cc - whether it's got reverse or not. So essentially, unless you're riding a little honda or vespa, you need to pass the motorcycle course and go take the written test for motorcycles. I wonder why something with two wheels and reverse is a car license in the UK and not having reverse isn't. Is the motorcycle license easier to get?

@julipaul33 I never knew the Goldwing had a reverse gear? Is that in the UK too? Wouldn't you need a car license? I only ask because some bubblecars etc can be driven on a bike license because they don#t have a reverse gear.
Mind you, it's always entertaining the first time you pull past a caravan and see it being towed by a Goldwing :)

You probably could ride one, but not flat footing both feet. Which is OK. you just have to lean to one side at the lights

@tomonasu I'm only 5' 2 and i have no problems with it. except trying to back it up - not much leverage trying to get up even a VERY slight incline. Make sure you have some strength in your legs and torso to push it around. i wish it had a reverse like the goldwing.

Would it be easy for me to ride this if I'm only 5'3?

@ivorytone
I don't know, but It isn't impossible to ride if you're only 5'3.
