@Dysanfel -Indeed, you are correct! Bobby's Mother was from Eastern Europe and back in the 1950's when she came to America, that was during the Cold War between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. Bobby's Mother was reported to the F.B.I. as a possibly Soviet spy due to a babysitter finding a piece of paper with Russian writing on it, (it was merely a letter to a friend of Bobby's Mother), and they were subsequently followed by the F.B.I. everywhere they went for many years! *Justified* paranoia!

@melissacarterTS - Overall character has nothing to do with the ability of a person to play chess or not. One doesn't have to be a saint in order to be good at whatever is they choose to be good at. Most people who fall into the genius category are looked upon by average people as, "lunatics". You seem very quick to pass judgement. Apparently you knew Bobby Fischer personally?

@JohnQuincyAdams1 No, you don't understand: Bobby Fischer's both biological parents were Jews (his German official father was not his biological father, check any online Encyclopedia), so Bobby was Jewish. That's right, the Jews are a nation, the Chosen Nation, as defined by G-d (Blessed Be He) in the Bible.

By the way, 65% of the World Chess Champions have been Jews. Hey, did you notice that in the last 3 Chess Olympiads, Israel was always placed ahead of the US, and beat US 2.5-1.5 ? :)
