In this clip from "The Misarranged Love Trap" (dir. Mok Hong-si, 1950), broker Lai (Cheung Ying) went to garage with taxi dancer Kitty (Hung Cheuk) to test-drive a new car for his client. Outside in the road he was spotted by his wife (Luk Siu-sin) and his competitor broker Nam (Yee Chau-shui), who followed them in secret to the garage (01:06). In the garage, Mrs Lai scolded them (02:40), and finally broker Lai had to give her HK$1,000 to settle the matter (06:25).
經紀拉(張瑛)與舞女林吉蒂(孔雀)同往車房試車兼遊車河兼拍拖, 給拉嫂和死對頭飛天南(伊秋水)撞過正著, 跟縱他們往車房。拉嫂大興問罪之師, 飛天南推波助瀾, 最後經紀拉給拉嫂一千大元息事寧人。

50年代香港的光輝是何等的令人神往. 有淳樸的街頭文化, 有藍天白雲, 風風雨雨的氣候, 人們是何等的平和清靜, 沒有互相相害的機心.
孩子們各區到處都有恬靜的休閒的地方, 如山邊, 如住宅的樓梯口, 如各小區的小公園, 現在只有商場文化, 休憩地方只有商場的快餐店, 還是要付錢的. 可是也都是紛擾不堪.
沒有平靜的地方.

@hkgalbert : 此片是我於1990代用VHS錄自亞視的深夜粵語長片節目。 現今亞視不大播映舊電影, 此片甚少重播, 也不見有影碟買。

@CiaranMcVeigh: These old Cantonese films usually do not have English subtitles, and I don't have free time to translate the dialogues into English. Sorry about that. Hope the description of the footage (at the left) can help you understand its content.
