1. big swimming area for growth. 1~2 ranchu for a 2 feet tank.
2. approx 28~32 DegreeC
3. bloodworms for head growth

hey how come fish stores never carry the ranchus, they carry lionheads and lionhead ranchu mix but not just ranchus, these are the best fish!

These are top grade TRV or Top View Ranchu. They are not available commercially because they are too expensive. What we see here in the US are chinese breed RANCHU. Real good TRV's are $100-$1000 easy. They are traded by Japanese Ranchu Clubs. Champion blood lines not availiable. If you buy them thay are very expensive. @nd level ranchus are availible thru Singapore & Thai exporting co.

hi jay733. yes, because ranchus are high maintenance fishes. water, temperature, food...all are factors to rear good & healthy ranchus. therefore, most fish stores will not carry ranchus as they are diffcult rear.
