Peggy and Jesse are hiking Mohawk Lake south of Breckenridge, CO. This was a fantastic hike. It started in the woods went about 2+ miles until you hit a Beaver Pond which was just beautiful. While we were taking some pictures these grey birds starting coming around so we decided to give them a cracker and the next thing you knew these wild birds were eating out of Peggys hand! There are three lakes and some old mining cabins which are pretty cool. We made it to the Lower Mohawk Lake which was beautiful & clear with amazing panoramic views with a gorgeous waterfall. I'm sure we would have been blown away with the Upper Mohawk Lake but we could not find the trail markers to continue the climb.
