A Call for Prudence

Dear viewer:

Philip Jenkins, professor of history and religious studies at Pennsylvania State University, has called anti-Catholicism the last acceptable prejudice in America. I firmly believe that an objective and non-sensationalist study of Catholic Church history will unequivocally confirm professor Jenkin's position.

A considerable number of people view the Catholic Church as a historically corrupt and deceiving institution. These people claim that the Church is to blame for many of the evils that have befallen the Earth. In fine, they view the Church as an institution that is synonymous with "ignorance, repression, and stagnation".

What these people don't know, however, according to historian and scholar, Dr. Thomas E. Woods, is "That Western civilization stands indebted to the Church for the university system, charitable work, international law, the sciences, [and] important legal principles..."

I call all those of you who are honest and eager to arrive at the truth to not accept my word as true; rather, I exhort you to do historical research and to decide for yourselves who is lying and who is speaking the truth about the Church. I beseech you to read reputable history written by trained historians. Don't get your information from sensationalist sources who are more interested in polemics than in presenting the truth.

I concur with your analysis and your book recommendations. They are both fine books. As for Spartacus, time will tell how he intends to develop his themes. His first video is but a "shot across the bow" since he listed out 15 things but offered not one shred of evidence to support his thesis. I can only presume he intends to flesh out in later videos what he started in his first. So far he has not researched his subject matter very well - all he does is copy false info from other anti-Catholics

hello again.thank you for making this videos , i also like to recommend the book of SCOTT HAHN it talks about the Lamb's Supper, the liturgy celebrating in Heaven. he was a protestant but now he's a real true catholic.Blessings+
