This is the Changing Of The Guard Ceremony held at Geyongbokgung (Korean Imperial Palace in Seoul). This ceremony dates back to the Joseon Dynasty and was first performed in 1479. Today this ceremony is put on nearly every day by the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation.
My buddy and I had just come up from the train station and caught it towards the end of the ceremony. After me walking down to the courtyard, you get to see the actual changing of the guard and departure of the nighttime guard.
Very cool - sounds windy there!
