Unfortunately the new zytel sheath is not as practical as the original kydex sheath for wearing around your neck. Worth mentioning the knife is full tang. I know this from seeing the knife blanks, but it isn't obvious as it doesn't show through the handle material. This really is a very good knife, perhaps just a little thick.

I never saw the original kydex sheath although my personal preferance is always
kydex ,because of its inherant strength and lightness.As for the thickness of the blade because a small knife often has to do larger tasks for me, the 3mm is perfect.
Better to have the extra tolerance of 1mm more.
