@Deadon122 @mims4321 No he didn't. Read the articles and reports they all agree that he sang a song called "sorry for the mess". This number is instrumental, and even though not mentioned I'm pretty sure he performed his own writings. Since he was a sing-a-song writer

Police in central Oregon say a 19-year-old man performed a song he introduced as "Sorry for the Mess" at a coffee house "open microphone" event, then fatally stabbed himself in the chest.
