Baghdaddios front man, Kenn Rowell, temporarily steps away from his normal old school punk fare and revisits his pop roots in this track from the "Miami Sessions" (Jan-Feb, 2010). Heard here in it's embryonic form, the track features only former Baghdaddios drummer Paul Zlotucha, along with scratch vocal and guitar tracks from Kenn. In what amounts to a high-end studio demo, this version is not scheduled for official release - but is so laid back and pleasant in it's approach that we felt it deserved to be heard. This tune will be finished, with re-recorded vocals, guitars (with bass and lead guitar added), remixed and mastered on a future Baghdaddios album. But for now,, we wanted you to have a happy glimpse into the studio process - complete with customary count-off ("A-one, two, a-one, two, three, AND!"), Kenn humming during the solo part and some random chatter at the end of tune ("I dunno, whattaya think, man?"). All this engineered, with a preliminary mix, by Miami-based producer Max Aims.

The photo? Glad you asked: That's just Kenn with good friend and renown Hawaiian slack-key guitarist Jim "Kimo" West, taken on the W.A.Y. tour bus, in June of 2010 in Westbury, NY (look him up online - he's GOOOOOOOOOD!").

This song is dedicated to all of our friends - the people that make our world a nicer place; those who further inspire us to meet life's challenges - and always make us feel like it's worth it!

Special thanks to dear Friend, B3 - from all those years ago - for the inspiration! Werd!

Purgatory (Falling In Love Again)

Sitting here in this lonely place
Sitting here with my English face
Emptiness
And I'm feeling it's so useless...........

First time in a year and a half
Since I last kissed you and I made you laugh
Never realized
How much that loving part of me died..........

And then I saw you there.
Man, it isn't fair.
No matter how hard I tried to fight it........
I couldn't help.......
.....Falling in love again.

I'll never forget when I first met you.
You messed me up, though I was happy to let you.
Happiness
And I'm feeling it's so useless..............

The last time you looked in my eyes
You told me you loved me and I nearly died.
Then you got on that train.
And left me to go insane.

And while we're skipping stones,
I knew I was at home.
And I knew it in my heart - this is all I ever wanted.........
I was.........
..........Falling in love again. (Break)

I know I said "never again",
But then I heard your voice on the other end
Of the telephone line
And I knew it was right this time.........

Sitting in this stadium.
Fifty-five-thousand but there's only one........
....I want to caress.
And I'm feeling it's so useless.

I may never get back there again.
But for what it's worth if my life had to end......
.....Tomorrow......
.....In knowing you I will never know sorrow.

I tried to put up a brave front,
But you know that I'm not that tough.
As you look at me one last time.......
Just know.........
I was falling in love again.

Yeah....I was Falling in love again.
Mmmmm......Falling in love again.
