@1tonyluz1 That is the idea ... the real work is done when you "design" the piece to be cut. This is where measurements are calculated, etc. The CNC machine just spits out the end result of all the hard work. However, you are right, nothing beats holding the finished product in your hands and seeing it on a screen. :)))

@faostube Yeah but you still dont have a part - and this is a functinal part.. The process is you model it, then make it right?

I can make it in autodesk 3d studio in less than the time it takes this video to complete, lol!

what material is the gear? UHMW? Delron? Looks like wax for a casting? Thanks for posting!!!

if it was nylon, wasn't more simple to create it in a press?

@Viustel then you would need to make a press tool! so for a one off cut it, think about tooling and set up time
