Wonderful news that you are a success story....there are many people who have beaten the Big C. But my readers want stories that show characters fighting and often losing, but growing in internally as they face what they cannot change. It's this mirror of triumph in the face of death that readers gravitate to. I have written books where people live, but my readers always ask me to "write the other kind" (where they die). So that's why I give my readers what they ask for.
