10 in 2010 !! 10 in 2010 !! shiiiiiiiiiiizZ! !!! It's already 2010 !!!!!! lol .. when i first heard that song .. 2010 was a blury hazy dream back then ! lol
@Ynnadodgers wow, I didn't even realize they were filming that show in 1996, or that a clip of my sassafras singing along to "Faith Alone" would turn up on PBS around 1998 either. I had no idea that a film of this existed until a year ago, and I didn't know it had been shown on PBS until you posted your comment. Thanks for writing. That song summed up my feelings about religion in general, and it still basically does. It was quite a journey from a religious upbringing to agnosticism.
@LeePax made Faith Alone one of my favorite songs, and till this day that verse always makes me picture "that kid singing along on the PBS broadcast" of the song... Weird huh? So glad I found it and was able to get that off my chest.
@LeePax Wanna know something creepy? I always think of you when I hear this song by BR. We've never met, nor have I ever come anywhere near Ohio, but I'll explain. A few of these songs, along with some of the UL songs, were featured on this live band series on PBS back in 1998 or so. I saw many bands I liked & didn't like on there, but of course had the VCR ready to roll when BR was going to be on, it was so exciting as it'd be 2 years till I'd get to see them live. This performance..cont..
Cool dude! I'm the guy too that knows every song they play live, and sings along like a madman =) I've seen them 2 times, back in summer of 2005 (I think lol) and June 08. My alltime favorite band...
Havent had the chance to meet with Greg yet, but I will eventually hence it's one my goals here in life.
That's me singing along at 1:06 in the clip. The dude to my left is the one-and-only Jesse "Chaucey" Ray. This is at the Agora Theater in Cleveland, Ohio on April 26, 1996. The opening acts were Unwritten Law and Dance Hall Crashers. I saw Bad Religion again during this tour, at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio, on Sept. 20, 1996 with my friends Scott Floodstrom and Mark Vukovic, and I still have the ticket that I got signed by Greg Graffin after that show. Jay Bentley was a nice dude 2.
