  • @drkebabs Probably your motherboard. But it could be your cpu is just a bad example.

If you have a G31m-ES2L you will for example have to raise the PCIE frequency over 100 in order to OC more. Some claim this could be risky for other components however.

On my board I learned that

FSB / 3.33 = Needed PCI-E frequency in order to boot

  • How long did your system survive ?

I want to OC mine as well but I'm afraid I will damage my sdd or graphics card....

  • Hi can anybody advise if this cpu will go beyond 3.6ghz and be stable? ive had it running at 3.6 for over 12 months with a stock cooler in my well ventilated case. im debaiting weither its worth me buying a new motherboard, ram and cpu or waiting for ivy bridge, if i can buy a new cooler and get 4.0ghz or more out id be more than happy to wait for ivy bridge

  • If you want to unlock this options in your BIOS. You must push keys about this combination: ctrl + F1 in main menu in BIOS. Greetings ! P.S Sorry for my shitty English. :(

  • I have this CPU and i can't go past 3.2ghz,

    temperatures are at 30 degrees,

what could be the problem here?

  • @ahmeth23 is this a remix or original?
