  • so whats it like now, do the corners curl and collect lint?

  • @amerboy22 nope still spotless

  • @mocciat I don't plan on getting a case for my laptop after applying the BodyGuardz. Would that be wise? I'm a student, so I often have my laptop in the backpack with my books and binders, and plus the fact that sometimes when I put the backpack down, it isn't always on soft ground. Will that damage my MBP now I no longer have a case for it?

  • @ScribblerJane I don't have a case on mine only the bodyguards but I am not on the go as much as a college student. I would get either a super cushy backpack like the STM Revolution (i did a review on that one) or get a Speck Satin for your Macbook which will still fit with a BodyGuardz. This way you have the best of both worlds.

  • @mocciat I have a Speck Satin on right now. The problem I have with it is the laches that keeps the case on, over time, have started chipping off, so the bottom part is loose now...And it does add bulk to the computer.

If I already have protection with BodyGuardz, why would I still need a case?

  • @ScribblerJane BodyGuardz will protect from scratches but minor drops it really does not help. If you are confident you won't drop it or knock it off a desk you will be ok. Just keep in mind the Speck will protect somewhat against drops whereas the BodyGuardz mostly protects against scratches.
