PAINTING A 5 METRE CANVAS MURAL INSPIRED BY GUSTAV KLIMT

Sketching in a large mural inspired by a small drawing by Gustav Klimt called, Fish Blood. The composition has been constructed with Ravel's Bolero in mind &
contains 21 figures (17 Nymphs & 4 lucky dudes lol) Painted on 10 oz primed cotton duck canvas which (when I begun it) I pinned down to my lounge room floor then stapled it to the wall much to the dismay of my landlord! lol.... Sinse this video was made I have worked on it at my gallery but havent worked on it sinse 15 Dec 2011 due to gallery commitments but I will get back to it by mid Feb 2012, you can veiw it in its current state of progress at http://www.facebook.com/chrisduffyartgallery (don't forget to like my page) or at my website: http://www.chrisduffysart.com. The painting will be completed with, Acrylic, Oil paints, Glitter & 18 karat gold! Please Note: It is not my intention to offend anybody what so ever with this video! Infact, I hope that by recording live the drawing/painting process it proves unequivocally that, although they are nudes it is indeed only a drawing/paintingss & nothing else, including photography & or pornography! Also, I hope it displays (to those that are interested) that when working on such a large scale you have to have a strategy in place which usually requires you to re-invent some of the traditional methods normally associated with creation of a painting...
