She brought books instead of clothes... I guess she's gonna have to do some shopping for clothes instead of sightseeing...
Souvenirs: I have mailed my souvenirs home so that I won't have to carry them all over the place. And you can mail clothes home with them that you don't want to wear again but want to keep and they can be protecting the fragile souvenirs...It's an added expense but it is SOOOO worth not having to carry the extra bulk.

I agree that the packing looks unorganised, but I assume that's 'cos she's just doing it for the video. On a real trip, obviously you'd need to be more organised.
However, I FULLY agree with the philosophy of disposable packing. I always take some of my less favourite clothes and my nearly-worn out sneakers so that I can throw them away at the end of the trip to make space for more souvenirs. If you take your favourite clothes, you wreck them, & come to hate them 'cos you wear them so much.
