Eight St. Louis Rams football players and two Rams cheerleaders participated in the United Way/NFL Hometown Huddle on Tuesday, October 14.
The players arrived at the United Way-funded Scott Air Force Base Youth Center in St. Clair County, Illinois to volunteer their time with nearly 150 after-school care students ages 6-18 from the base. During the event, activities included football drills, a HOPSports interactive fitness video workout tailored for the children, and a talk about character and nutrition.
The Rams players, along with volunteers from United Way and the base, tossed footballs, danced to the video, and cheered the kids on during the hour-long program. Healthy snacks were also available for all of the children.
