The song is by John Trudell, Hanging from the Cross.
The images are from a variety of sources (for which I give thanks), and are my interpretation of John's words to create a visual record of the song.
In Johns words
The reality of being Being just is
We are being being human being
Our human is temporary
An experience of being
In the evolution of being.

The telling of history of what has happened since 1492 to the present day to the peoples of Turtle Island is known and evident by the current native population and the political map of america with it's reserves of "Indian Land".

We are All Related, and we are all Spiritual Beings having an earthly "Human" existence. No different from what Jesus spoke of to his followers.
When we realize that our oneness with this truth, and how it has been twisted over 2000 years by those who would mine our minds, to create the tech-no-logical civilization with its "rationalized justified religious salvation".
We are living in interesting times, may we understand just what is being asked of us, in the name of coherent intelligent action and personal responsibility.

  • Great Job Walkingbear............Isn't John a "unique".

  • We're all being strung to a cross. The way corporations pollute our Earth. The way our governments lie to us. The way we buy into media trends. The way our beliefs are manipulated to wage war. When we simply take all this as truth, accept it and do nothing, we allow ourselves to hang on those crosses.

    I will hang no more.

  • I am with you on that.

    No more hanging around.

  • Thanks! (once again)

    Great work!

  • Thank you, John continues to inspire, question and draw lines for us all as to where we may be going, and what side of the fence we will fall on when we get there.

From here to there is not far, and we have already the map of history to look at how we git to "here".

  • Nice work, Walkingbear. I have never had the luxury of defining apocalyptic visions from a cozy, well fed intellect. I was born into a psychotic and degenerate realm where even the most liberal people never question lifestyles manifest in the spoils of genocide and the rape of the biosphere. Can you personally give up your dependence on burning gasoline as a lifestyle necessity? That is just one justifiable habit out of thousands. I have a bad habit of challenging the coherent thinkers.

  • I have been riding a bicycle since 1958, and recently, having wondered of I was asking too much of our species to explore practical alternatives to everyday habits (yes, there are always crap habits to address, even for a 111-pound man who dwells in the belly of the beast) and so, recognizing that most individuals don't have the patience to learn bicycle skills and therefore might die in L.A. traffic, I started walking my routes a lot more. Easy as pie. Takes a little longer. Barefoot.

  • @bamboosa and yeah, it was/is a rough life and so i deleted those previous posts because i want to focus on affecting change. i wonder how many of us don't have habits, justifiable or otherwise? it's like sleeping with the enemy, or maybe it's more like an hypnotic date rape. a vampire by any other name sucks blood just the same. we need to break away from the seduction of that vampire beast because it just continues to devour everything in it's path in one way or another.

  • @bamboosa we can never justify genocide for gas, electricity, etc. we all live in a world that was made for us now, but we can affect change with clear and coherent thinking. we are destorying our environment and killing the children of the world for gas, coal, oil. we do indeed need to think clearly and coherently about that! i'm starting with hemp. if the prohibition on hemp was lifted we could build an economy around it, both the industrial and the medical/recreational kinds.

  • Wow. Rough life. Yes, the dentures are composed mainly of petroleum byproducts. Come to Hollywood and meet the real deal. Be well.

  • @bamboosa

why bamboosa are those fangs really yours or are they just the plastic oil blood petro chemical kind? can you eat them like cherry wax lips or are they like dentures you can soak in a cup?
