A graduate student at Syracuse's SI Newhouse School of Public Communications is forced to delete her photos and has her 1st Amendment rights violated in the process. Did her religion play a part?

  • They violated her rights. She was under no obligation to turn over her camera or delete anything on it.

  • What was the point in adding that she was Muslim?? I don't get why everything is titled 'Muslim' (Muslim speaking here)

  • Yeah? I am a photojournalist and I say as long as you are on a public place you can snap what ever picture you want. Stand up for your rights people. Don't bend over and take it. If she was blond with mini skirt I am sure that cop would have posed for her pictures.
