1,000+ students rally outside of Aldrich Hall in protest over the 32% tuition fee increase.
As students charge a side door UCI police storm out of Aldrich Hall macing all those who stand in the door way. United, the students pushed the police back into the building and continued to protest.
@jb5280 The money is running out. That's why the tuitions are rising. CA is facing serious bankruptcy issues, that's why the students are asked to pay higher tuitions to absorb the cost. Otherwise, who else will pay for the education? Who will pay the professor's salaries and benefits? Don't forget that UCI even offers housing for some college professors. UCI is generous to its faculty members, not the students, who are essentially ATM machines in board members' eyes.

Geez, if anything, they should decrease tuition fees. Higher education should be free to all, right? Only in California would people be proud of this.
