Nikon D5000 Night Photos

These are some of the best night photos that I have taken with my Nikon D5000 DSLR camera. In order to achieve these results, I used long exposure, small aperture (to avoid the shaking caused by the mirror. I compensate for the smaller aperture by exposing it longer), and 200 ISO or less. The photo at 0:55 is amazing. What kind of lense did you use. and what kind of settings did you use? I take all the advise i get ..

@ThePurpleRay Thank you .I used the standard 18-55mm Nikkor Lens. I was in SHUTTER SPEED mode when taking that shot, I had to also increase the ISO and I used a few techiniques of my own.

When i take long exposure pictures i get to much noise. I use 5s / f4.5 / 200iso. Any suggestions ?

@steve702 The macro lenses can be quite expensive. I've heard Sigma Nikon Mount Macro Lenses are not bad.

Nice pics..cant wait to start getting good pics im new to photography so im still learning but thats what makes good shots... I wanna get the 35mm f1.8 lens i heard its a great lens to have.. I got the kit along with the 55-200 but I want something also to take macro shots.
