I'm from Finland. We have no such problems. Finland is united under one flag. We have Åland Islands, that is an autonomous area within Finland. They use their own flag and have their own postal service etc, but they are not demanding full independence.

@Jyrki1964 The situation is currently very difficult for independentists. The leader of our main independantist political party(Parti Québécois), Pauline Marois, is not very popular. Independentists are divided. BUT, the support for independence may be in the worst case, approximately at 40%, wich is not so bad. So all we need is a good leader who can rally everybody behind him, so I remain hopeful. I don't know if you live in Scotland, but if you do, in 2014, don't miss your shot... Inspire us!

@jozsefkacsa Ce n'est pas parce que le Canada est un beau pays que le Québec ne peut pas en devenir un! Et le gouvernement fédéral n'en fait pas tant que cela pour le Québec. Il ne donne pas plus au Québec que ce que le Québec paye en impôt pour subventionner l'industrie des sables bitumineux de l'Alberta ou le secteur automobile de l'Ontario. De toute facons, depuis toujours; les peuples qui contrôlent pleinement leur avenir sont des peuples plus heureux.
