Rescuers respond to a simulated ATV accident with two injured patients - one a femur fracture, the other a forearm fracture, both with probable spinal injuries. The exercise was staged during a Wilderness First Responder certification course taught by the Wilderness Medicine Institute of the National Outdoor Leadership School, and hosted by the Boulder Outdoor Survival School in Boulder, Utah. It was shot on a Sony Xacti VPC2000 by Steve Howe, on assignment for Backpacker Magazine.
