walaikumsalam, I'm not a brother and the voice in this video is of a brother who is a well known daee...a student of knowledge in England...he is just saying that if the mahram of that women says you should wear niqab then she should do so...i don't understand why any men would make a women wear niqab out of desire...what desire will he achieve? except that no men would look at that women...so in any case the women is being protected....I hope the misunderstanding is cleared inshallaah.:)

@AhlulHadeethMedia Well it could be to show "he is the man". I have seen this mindframe myself. Such as brothers forcing their wife to wear black and claiming its a religiou obligation. Yes it is better but not wajib.

Good muslima knows the best what feeling she has, and she certainly can speak about it with her family. I do not see any reason for any complusory and pressure. The situation if strange man looks at her can be dealed in another way.

I am muslimah and I am on my way to wear niqab inshallah. But this is purely my right and my choice.

woman can explain her husband or brother that she does not feel she needs wearing niqab - she feels protected enough in hijab. what will you say? I do not see reason to weat niqab if woman does not feel that way. it is no reason except jalousy if her brother or husband forced her to do so, or - there might be pressure of society? Based on WAHT brother or husband should press her? It is not in books and it is no reason except woman wishes to wear it.

good husband and brother takes care of sister and listens also to her opinion and what she says, odes not make her hard times and tries to understand her feelings, allah gives you best guidance guidance

so brother and husband aslo should investigate himself whay he command the niqab, if it is in the sakje of allah or it is his own desire, is not so easy as you say!!!
