Despite the electric grill in the background.. Master Suzuki san in his great wisdom has gone to real charcoal and a new improved menu with added outdoor seating as well!

Great . You posted up the shop and have done the owner an advert freebie . The trick now is to be a regular and bring in more customers one of which must be a loud mouth drunk salaryman with a laptop hooked up to his keitai so that he can show the owner he is now on the Internet ... Good stuff .. Free Beer...

Yea I tried it already and he is so low tech and not really interested in the idea not yet at least the place is tiny and always packed with loud construction workers..... I like that crowd a little better anyway

I love Izakaya and I go to Izakaya or Yakitoriya every night when I am in Japan, and this one looks like a must visit one.

If you feel like going just let me know ...I would join you. As for izakaya... I have never had good yakitori from those places myself...I do like izukaya for a cheap fun time with friends as it seems to be the opinion of most people I know (few as that may be) There is also a very good place in Ueno called the Kyoken Bar 2nd floor in the outdoor shopping area by the Station. I hope to do a peice on that one soon as the owner is a friend and his place is quite relaxed.
