  • nice one! i also have r3 and kp3 (endless fun), but i'm limited becouse of drums. i found esx best for me, but still thinking about getting microsampler or roland's sampler from SP series+maybe aditional kp3/kp pro. after some time of using esx do you still think it was the best choice, or maybe you found better way?

i'll use it to sample some acoustic sounds eg. my drums set too

and by the way, does esx assign effects individally to each instrument? eg. reverb only on snare and so on?

    thanks!

  • @TheEpicAndrew yes and you can record the automation for each channel individually it's a petty versatile machine linked up with a kaoss pad it's dope next on the list is a dave smith tempest oh the sweet sound of analog the one thing is there is only a limited amount of sample time. the micro sampler has way more.

  • what do you use to loop?

  • @speakerphone94 in the video I used 1 kp3 now I use one for the sex and one for the r3 a nice sampler is next on the list

  • @skatedrummer this is produced live on the fly written on the spot. lets see what you got?

  • I like this song a lot!....but..... I am always disapointed when I click on a song that says Dubstep and it doesnt shoot me in the face with a shotgun.....I would place this in a catagory of an Ambient Dub Techno, which I prefer ADT sound anyway lol....but you would not get as many views lol... ;0)

  • @TheEpicAndrew I would suggest a Roland "phrase" sampler as the samples can be large or small and most roland samplers stream from the memory card to avoid lengthy load times in between songs.

  • Cool sound man!! I have the korg ES-1 Mk2 and I have found that its better for pre-programming beats and then manipulating it in a live fashion, I see that the KP3 is good for live sampling. Ive been looking into the R3 or the DSI Mopho keys. Kinda leaning towards the R3 because of its 8 voices rather than one... How is the R3 for creating thick bass and leads?

  • 7000 view
