@iskygge I played since the CU update until 2008 and then played it again for a while in 2010. I have tried the "new" version of it. SWG is now a lot worse than it should be.

@testyvenom people like you that dont even try the new game make me sad, everyone agrees the NGE was a f**k up but that doesnt mean you have to hold a grudge for forever, because if you actually looked at how the game is now, its just as good as pre-cu if not better. Maybe you should try it before just saying its s**t and always will be.

This game went to hell back in 2005 when they implemented NGE.... SOE sucks. If they make it "free to play", I might play it, but it's not worth paying for anymore.

@TheBobandben If sony really could stop SWGEMU from happening, dont you think they would have already tried? They're a multi billion dollar international corperation that is the closest thing to a monopoly in the world at the moment. As long SWGEMU never makes a profit (which it never will since it's free), they are completely powerless to stop it.

@TheBobandben Face it, SWTOR is being creaed by BIOWARE one of the greatest game developers of all time. Whereas the regular SWG is an old game from when MMORPGs were still a new idea, and what made good MMORPGs was still being tested out, that is being maintained by SOE, which for all intents and purposes, is the worst online game company there is.

@TheBobandben The rights as defined and examined by legal professionals dictate that they have the right to copy previous versions of the game as they please. This is even truer still due to the fact that the server program being used for SWGEMU is created by reverse engineering what is now a non existant original server program.
