I'm sorry to disagree and I am not trying to create an argument. However, the RIGHT thing to have done, would have been to pick the dog up and gently set her down on the ground away from the steps and then continue filming her...

@Sugrgrl73 it may seem like pulling the pup down the steps was bad but think about how the dog was turning in circles and falling, if she would have done that on the steps she could have tumbled down and been hurt really bad

I agree totally. This was a helpful video but there is no way I would have pulled my pup down the steps in the middle of having a seizure or any other episode like that...

if her demeanor has changed on the phenobarb, talk to the doc. They are not going to want her to have a behavior/personality change unless necessary. There are other meds, some are more expensive, some cause constipation, etc, but talk to the vet...

Yeah, it's a seizure. My friend's dog had one just like that a few months ago. But you should do what hylianprincess7 says, it really works.
this just happened to my dog like an hour ago. it makes me feel somewhat better that now i know what was going on. i picked my dog up so he could stop stumbling around. but why would you pull him down the stairs rather than pick him up? not cool bro. but this video helped me out

@Chrissyluvsmartin Her seizure actually started on the stairs. I moved her off. Our physician asked us to record as many episodes so she can help to determine the cause. She's well taken care of, trust us. She's living a much better life than she did in the hoarder's home in GA.

Was this an isolated episode? If not, how often does this happen? How long do these signs last? Are the signs consistent every time?

@IMightJustBeWrong It's not an isolated episode. She's now taking Phenobarbital and they have subsided but still happen on occasion. Sadly, the medicine has changed her demeanor quite dramatically.
