The police thought the paramedic driver flicked him off (which he did not) and the driver was not shown in this video. The African American paramedic simply got frustrated at the police yelling at the driver, delaying treatment and delivery of the patient that was in side the ambulance at that time. The Police officer is a veteran and claims it was stress that caused this. He was only suspended for a couple of weeks. police also was speeding prior of the video with his wife in his cruiser.

the only thing I can say is even if you're a cop never point your finger in someone's face. If you get in someone's comfortable area it's natural instinct for a fight to happen. In general it's all about respect and taming the situation not creating hostilaty.
