Great movie, but not going to buy it on blu-ray or anything else. Just something special about watching the original VHS tape. Like experiencing christmas as a kid all over again instead of something remastered

I can't believe the negative press this got back then. This movie, though lost from my VHS collection way back when i was tiny, still is in my mind, to the point where a search of "Santa, exploding candy cane" let me find this! XD

I just adored it, and I remember all the wonderful moments and set designs, not to mention the Santa backstory.
